Little Piggy

Ian had his 4 month appointment last week- he now weighs 15 pounds, 5 ounces! He, apparently, gained 2 pounds in a month. The doctor even insisted on re-weighing him because she thought the nurse screwed it up! But, sure enough, it was confirmed that Ian is just a little piggy. We haven't started solids, yet, but it's coming soon- especially considering that he watches you eat with a stare that could bore holes through your head! You also have to be very careful if he's sitting in your lap, Wayne's licorice almost didn't make it to Wayne's mouth last night. How in the heck is time passing so quickly?!

No Exceptions

Aidan has always been a big talker and, just like his father, a crazy imagination to go with it. The things he can come up... Any way, Aidan and I were playing with his Batcave the other day (as in Batman!) and I was playing with the little Robin figure. Aidan never lets anybody else play with Batman, he's selfish like that ;) He threw Batman and told me that Batman was dead. I looked at him and said "Really?" and he gave me a very serious look and said "Mom, did you know that Jesus died on the cross for Batman?" I busted out laughing. But, how in the heck am I going to argue with that?! Jesus DID die for everybody, no exceptions, so I guess that includes Batman!
